Clearing Out Aunty's Home
It's truly heart breaking when a loved one passes away and you're faced with the task of clearing out their home. Balancing respect for their belongings while deciding to part with pieces can be challenging. This is where my professional expertise shines. Since this sideboard was kindly donated for sale, I had creative freedom with the finish. I preserved the beautiful original knobs and added my signature yellow legs as well as some stunning geometric paper. A few months later, at a vintage market, I encountered the couple who purchased it, and they expressed how much they loved it. And that made my day.

Amy had spotted an eb4design upcycled chest of drawers featuring a striking crane design and yellow legs in a lifestyle emporium, but it had unfortunately already sold. She reached out to enquire about the possibility of creating another one, as she adored the yellow legs and the unique pattern, which would perfectly fit a specific area in her daughter's room. Amy valued the personal touch of weekly update emails and conversations. I successfully sourced the exact size needed, saving her the hassle of searching herself. The drawers were hand-delivered and looked fantastic in her vibrant, eclectic bedroom.
